Getting Started

What is Krut AI?+
Krut AI is an AI-powered app builder. You describe the software you need in plain language, and Krut designs, builds, and runs a full-stack application for you — frontend, backend, and database — with a live preview. No coding knowledge is required.
What can I build with Krut?+
Internal tools, dashboards, customer portals, booking systems, CRMs, calculators, landing pages, and most web applications a business needs. If you can describe it, Krut can build a working version of it, and you can refine it through conversation.
Do I need to know how to code?+
No. You build by chatting with Krut in plain language. Krut asks clarifying questions when needed, writes the code, sets up the database, and handles hosting. Developers can still inspect and download the generated code if they want to.
How do I publish my app?+
Once your app looks right in the live preview, publish it with one click. Your app goes live on a public URL and stays running. You can keep making changes and republish at any time.

Credits, Payments & Billing

How does pricing work?+
Krut runs on prepaid credits — there are no subscriptions and no lock-in. Credits are consumed as you use the platform, for example when generating apps with AI or keeping published apps running. You can see your balance and full transaction history on the Billing & Credits page.
How do I add credits?+
Go to Billing & Credits, enter a top-up amount, and pay securely through Razorpay. Credits are added to your account as soon as the payment is confirmed, usually within a few seconds.
Which payment methods are supported?+
Payments are processed by Razorpay, which supports credit and debit cards, UPI, net banking, and popular wallets. Any applicable taxes such as GST are shown at checkout before you pay.
My payment succeeded but credits weren't added. What do I do?+
Credits are added once Razorpay confirms the captured payment, which usually takes a few seconds to a few minutes. If your credits haven't appeared within 24 hours, email support@krut.ai with your payment ID and we will either credit your account or refund you in full.
Can I get a refund?+
Failed and duplicate payments are refunded automatically to your original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days. For unused purchased credits, you can request a refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing support@krut.ai. Credits that have already been consumed are non-refundable. Do my credits expire?+
Purchased credits remain available while your account is active. Promotional or bonus credits may have their own validity, which we will state when they are granted.
Is there a subscription I need to cancel?+
No. Krut has no recurring subscription fees. You top up credits when you want to — if you stop using Krut, you simply stop topping up.

Your Apps & Data

Who owns the apps I build?+
You do. You own the prompts and content you provide and the applications generated for you. You can keep them running on Krut or take the code elsewhere.
Is my data secure?+
Each project runs in its own isolated environment. Data is encrypted in transit, passwords are stored hashed, and payments are handled entirely by Razorpay — we never store your card or banking credentials. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Will my prompts be used to train AI models?+
No. Your prompts and project content are processed by AI providers only to fulfill your requests. We do not sell your content or use your private projects to train our own models.
Can my app connect to other services?+
Yes. Krut supports integrations such as Google Calendar and Gmail, and your apps can connect to external APIs. You authorize each integration explicitly, and you can revoke access at any time.
