Terms of Service

1. The Service

Krut AI is an AI-powered application builder. You describe the software you need in plain language, and the Service generates, runs, and helps you publish full-stack applications on your behalf. The Service includes project workspaces, live previews, hosting of published applications, and optional integrations with third-party services.

2. Accounts and Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and keep it up to date.
• You must notify us promptly at support@krut.ai if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Credits, Payments, and Billing

• The Service operates on a prepaid credit system. Credits are consumed as you use the Service — for example, when generating applications with AI or keeping published applications running.
• Credits can be purchased through our payment partner, Razorpay. By making a payment you also agree to Razorpay's terms of service.
• Applicable taxes (such as GST in India) may be added at checkout and will be shown before you pay.
• Credits are not legal tender, carry no cash value, and are not transferable between accounts.
• Refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
• We may change pricing or the rate at which credits are consumed. Material changes will be communicated in advance where reasonably possible.

4. Your Content and Applications

• You retain ownership of the prompts, data, and files you submit to the Service ("Your Content") and of the applications generated for you through your use of the Service, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service.
• You are responsible for Your Content and for the applications you build and publish, including their compliance with applicable laws and third-party rights.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Build, host, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, or harmful, including malware, phishing pages, or spam tools.
• Violate the privacy, intellectual property, or other rights of any person or entity.
• Probe, scan, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' projects or data.
• Resell or sublicense the Service without our prior written consent.

We may suspend or remove applications or accounts that violate these Terms.

6. AI-Generated Output

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate code and applications. AI output may contain errors, may be incomplete, and may be similar to output generated for other users. You are responsible for reviewing and testing applications before relying on them, especially for production or business-critical use.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may interoperate with third-party services (for example, payment processors, hosting providers, or integrations such as email and calendar services that you connect). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

8. Availability and Changes

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also impose usage limits to protect the platform and its users.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Krut AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; provisions that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts located in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your place of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
